The Section Quartet delves into the musical world of the late Los Angeles singer/songwriter Elliott Smith and other alt rock provocateurs from the past fifteen years.

About the Residency at the Edye:
The Section Quartet has toured the world and, along the way, worked with a wide range of popular artists such as the Foo Fighters, Fiona Apple, Christina Aguilera, and Kanye West.  Known for their original string quartet arrangements of the rock canon, the quartet will tackle three distinct rock sub genres in this Edye residency: classic rock, alt rock and indie rock.  Each evening will include special guest vocalists – previous shows have featured well-known performers such as Sam Phillips, Sara Watkins, Grant-Lee Phillips, and more.
