"Exhilarating...wild Up merrily mashes Modernism with Punk" (Los Angeles Times). wild Up is a contemporary classical music collective - a group of Los Angeles-based musicians committed to creating visceral, thought-provoking concerts.  For this special evening, wild Up has created a program of politically-inspired music by American composers.  Works range from Bernstein and Sousa to Merle Haggard and John Lennon.  They will also premiere a new composition inspired by the famous Jimi Hendrix performances of the National Anthem.  (There were 41 in addition to the well known Woodstock performance.)  Come see the most captivating new music ensemble to emerge on the West Coast in recent years.
